PRODUCTION STATEMENT

We wanted to tell a story taking place during the Covid but not about the pandemic, a story that wants to tell that even during the most tragic moments something beautiful can come to life.

SYNOPSIS

Loris is a musician with a dark past who's going to meet his fiancée Aurora who lives in another country. Due to train problems he is hosted by Flavia, Aurora's sister, for one night. But the very next day, whole Italy becomes red zone due to the Covid pandemic. Loris and Flavia are obliged to live together in that house for 2 long months: besides the deep differences between them, an impossible love story will be born and the national lockdown will oblige them to face it.

DIRECTOR

Luca was born in a small city of the metropolitan area of Milan (Italy) in 1987. He showed skills and interests in the movie industry since he was a child. He started writing his first 'scripts' when he was 9 and he made his first home movie when he was 12. After high school, he took a Bachelor Degree in Showbusiness Sciences at 22, then he left Milan to go to Bologna (Italy). There he got a Master Degree in Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production at 24. It was 2011. He started writing professional scripts for cinema and television in 2009. He has written almost 40 scripts for feature films, short movies, TV and web series. He made his debut as director and producer in 2012 with the web series "Puzzle", who was later broadcast by Italian national TV La3. Since then, he produced and directed 7 works (movies and series). One of them, a short movie called "Doppio Zero", was selected at Festival de Cannes 2015. He won 4 different prizes and got nominees in different festivals. Another one, the web series "Survival" won 4 awards and got 8 nominees worldwide (Italy, Asia and South America).
